The atmosphere in the Cullen house was light and joyful. There were a few lighthearted banterings between the family members, enjoying the time they have with each other. And as the teasing started to get more physical, Renesmee’s thought started to wander. She was bored, she wanted to do something else than to play dress up with her aunts today. Dressing up is fun but that will not take the whole day and she wanted to do something different.
Renesmee looked outside and it was, as usual a cloudy day in Forks. No sun will come out of those thick clouds anywhere in town or probably as far as La Push she mused. La Push her mind wandered to the small reservation near the coast. She had been to La Push many times and knew almost everybody there. No treaty forbids her not to cross the Quiluete boarder. Though the agreement still technically binds the rest of her family there were amendments made. For example, the Cullens can not cross the boarder but can do so if accompanied by a pack member depending on how many are entering. This revision was made for her since Jacob wanted to bring her to La Push when she was, er, small and her Mom and Dad would not allow her without a chaperone.
Chaperone, Renesmee groaned, more like bodyguards. This was pretty ironic for her Mom not to allow her to go to La Push since she used to argue with her Dad about the safety of being in close proximity of werewolves. And this was back when her Mom was human and she is more durable than a human.
Recalling the stories her Mom told her, she remembered one story in particular. She looked again at the sky, yes definitely no sun as far as she can see.
“Uncle Jazz, Aunt Alice” she began as she approached them. She touched both of them showing the three of them in La Push enjoying an extreme sport that her Mom once tried.

Alice was laughing quietly at nothing in particular. She was sitting on the couch enjoying everyone's company when her eyes wandered towards her niece. Renesmee was looking rather bored... A rock crumbled down the side of the cliff's edge, and tumbled towards the cutting waters below... It didn't really look that safe, she had to admit, but it was for fun's sake. Besides, vampires couldn't drown. They'd be careful with her. Her head snapped up as a gush of wind flew by, and a truckload of scents approached. What was that? She squinted and looked behind her a bulge of worry building in her chest. Nothing except her family. Well, maybe she'd imagined it. After a deep breath, she threw herself off the cliff, the worry vanishing, replaced by pure exhilaration... Alice came back to present with a smile on her face. “Uncle Jazz, Aunt Alice,” Nessie began as she approached them. She touched both of them showing the three of them in La Push enjoying an extreme sport that Bella once tried. Alice grinned. She only remembered too well all of that chaos... Though, at the time none of it had been cause for smiling. In fact Alice didn't think she'd ever been so terrified before; it had been so difficult to hide it from Bella. Edward was like a true brother to Alice and though she was irritated she was also scared beyond belief. Now that it was all in the past she was able to smile about it though, because she knew nothing like any of that would happen again. Or, she hoped not. "That sounds fantastic, Ness!" Alice looked towards Jasper inquiringly. "You want to Jazz?" She asked hopefully, standing up after taking his hand. "Pleeeaaaase?"

This was one of the days that Jasper enjoyed. No worries, no anxieties, and no problems. Everything felt nice and it made him feel that way too. His family had gathered around in the house, doing what normal families did when they were together on such rare days. Conversations filled every room, with a family of nine, what would you expect. A few fists would suddenly smack on someone else but it was all jokes and no other intentions intended. Jasper would do anything to have everyday be a day like this, happy and light.
As every other time, when the moods in a room where peaceful and calm, he let his guards down and would envelop himself in that atmosphere, being hyper aware of everyone's emotions all at the same time, getting mixed up with his own mood. This didn't upset him, as other days would when people's emotions clouded up his own, being that this was what he had always wanted, an atmosphere that kept him at ease.
He was sitting on the couch beside Alice, flicking through channels on the tv much too fast for human eyes to focus on, looking for a decent channel.
Something caught his attention, someone was distressed. He searched the room for the source and landed on his niece, with a very bored expression on her face. He cocked his head to the side, laying the remote down, and looked at her with concern in his eyes. Why is she not happy?
He was about to send a wave of happiness flowing through her when his niece stood up and went to them. She touched them with her hands, her preferred way of communication, and showed them what she preferred to do today. Ah. She must have grown tired of the dress-ups with her aunts. Jasper chuckled to himself.
Alice, whom he presumed had already seen what was coming was already on her feet tugging him with her. Charming as always. I'd doubt I'd ever say no to her, even if it were something I was to regret later on, he thought.
"Pleeeaaaase?" Alice pleaded.
She's using more than necessary. "Of course Alice, Ness. Anything to make you both happy." Jasper answered with a smile.
Outside, the clouds dragged on lazily in the skies, nothing ever changed.

Renesmee looked hopefully at her Aunt Alice knowing that her family can be overwhelmingly be protective of her. She was so glad when her Aunt grinned at her and said in her bell voice "That sounds fantastic, Ness!" Her Aunt then turned to her husband who was busy flipping through channels in the flatscreen, "You want to Jazz?" and then she added in a pleading voice, standing up after taking his hand. "Pleeeaaaase?"
Looks like her Aunt was looking forward to the trip as much as she is.
"Of course Alice, Ness. Anything to make you both happy." Renesmee heard her Uncle Jasper agreed. There was nothing her Uncle won’t do to make his wife happy.
“Yay!” Renesmee exclaimed jumping up and continued, her words coming out in a rush. “I’ll call Jake up and tell him we are coming, he can meet us near the border and he can join us! But first I need a change of clothes and my swimsuit in the cottage. I will also leave a note for Mom and Dad in case they come home looking for me there. I will be right back. ”
Renesmee didn’t wait for any of them to answer. She headed out the door the second she said her last word. She was very excited. Bounding up the river, she ran as quickly as she could through the forest. Unlike her vampire family she's not nearly as fast as them, her human heart and lungs can only keep up to her vampire body. Her hybrid state had left her with all the strengths of a vampire but her human side gave her some limitations to those strengths.
When she got to the cottage she quickly changed from her dress to something more outdoorsy, grabbed her backpack stuffed her swimsuit in it and a towel. She went to the living room and wrote a note to her parents.
Mom, Dad,
Gone to La Push with Aunt Alice and Uncle Jazz. Will meet up with Jake there. Yes, I'll be careful! Be back soon.
Love you, Nessie
No need to put in details she mused.
That done, Renesmee swung her backpack and dashed off to return to the house beside the river. She had only been gone for less than ten seconds.

Without a word, Alice pulled Jasper into a bone-crushing hug. "Yay!" She said simply. She pulled back and grinned up at him, and then pulled herself closer again. In that position Renesmee began to explain what she was about to do. Alice opened her mouth to ask so she could help picking out which bathing suit she would wear, but Renesmee had already gone. Her brows furrowed for the slightest of seconds before she sighed and rolled her eyes. Oh well. After all, surely she would need a new one soon- that just meant more shopping anyways! Her posture straightened for a second and another vision came to her briefly; one of those short, blurry insignificant ones. It was only showing the return of Nessie. It hadn't taken her long at all. Alice smiled at her niece. She was growing up so fast... Even faster then a normal humain would be! Seemingly only with a flick of her wrist, she snatched her little silver cellphone from her back pocket and snapped a candid. Alice grinned. "Sorry Nessie, couldn't resist." Alice shoved the cell back in her back pocket and ran upstairs quickly, coming back down wearing a black bikini with a dark purple five sizes too big t-short over it, and her usual silver flats. She ran her fingers through her hair once, and from a bag she was carrying on her fore-arm, too out a pair of big sunglases. "I'm ready! Jazz, I have some swim shorts for you in here." She said, guesturing to the bag. "We're all clear weather wise to go, to." She added. "I can see it's over cast all day today, and it's going to drizzle a little bit... that okay Renesmee? It may be cold for the water."

“I’ll be fine, Aunt Alice!” Renesmee rolled her eyes. She then took her silver phone from her backpocket and dialled Jake’s number. He answered on the first ring. “Hi Jake!” she beamed. It was always nice to hear Jake’s voice. “Guess what? We’re coming over to La Push to cliff dive! Can you meet us at the boarder? Aunt Alice and Uncle Jazz will be coming with me.” There was a long pause. “Are you sure they let you?” Jake said finally doubtful. “Isn’t it too cold for you?” “Yes they did and no it’s not too cold. I’m fine.” She rolled her eyes for the second time. “So can you come meet us?” She was so eager to leave that she was getting annoyed at Jake for stalling. “Uhm, I can’t come with you Ness the pack’s pretty busy.” She seemed to hear some hesitation in his voice. “Oh,” Renesmee was disappointed she was looking forward to seeing Jake. “But you can go ahead though I will tell the pack about your visit” Jake caved in without any argument. “I gotta go. Take care of yourself Ness. Don’t give Alice and Jasper any trouble” She heard the phone click. That was rude, she thought. Jake suddenly seem to be in a hurry. And what was that bit of giving her Aunt and Uncle trouble? But Renesmee didn’t want to dwell on this, they can still go! Perfect, she always almost got her way with Jake. There is nothing he would do for her, she’s getting spoiled. “Jake can’t join us but he says we can still go. He will tell the pack about our visit.” She informed her Aunt Alice as she tucked away her phone to her pocket. She then pulled her Aunt’s hand when none of the moved. “Let’s go you guys! Aunt Alice are we taking your Porsche?”

Jasper felt it coming. Alice hugged him, he hugged her back while chuckling softly. I'd do anything to make you happy. She pulled back, grinning up to him, only to pull back closely again. He laughed.
Ness had explained what she was going to do then and had left without waiting for an answer. Ah.. Too excited.
Alice frowned, but then her expression quickly turned to relief and... Another plan? Hm.. Her eyes widened, but she did not need to explain what she saw, Ness was already back. He turned to see Ness stiffen a bit as Alice shot a picture of her niece.
"Sorry Nessie, couldn't resist!" Alice explained before running up the stairs. She was back before Jasper could go after her, help her out a little with the packing. But of course, what help could he do, she'd probably not like the shorts he'd pick for himself, telling him they were outdated. He considered that, frowning a bit, wondering when he'd get used to the new styles. I guess never.
"I'm ready! Jazz, I have some swim shorts for you in here." Alice informed him, proving his point. "We're all clear weather wise to go, to." She added. "I can see it's over cast all day today, and it's going to drizzle a little bit... That okay Renesmee? It may be cold for the water."
“I’ll be fine, Aunt Alice!” Renesmee answered, tired of the unnecessary worries. We only care so much for you. Jasper wanted to say but Ness had already dialled Jake's number to inform him about their visit on his side of the line. The conversation was a fast one, not usual. Wonder what's wrong?
“Jake can’t join us but he says we can still go. He will tell the pack about our visit,” Ness explained, not answering Jasper's question. Worrying about the dog Jasper? What is happening to you?, he thought to himself, confused. Why the sudden care for the mutt? Maybe it was because Ness was very attached to Jake that he now saw Jacob in a different way, or the times Jake and his pack had helped them. Nevermind. I'll save this for later. Right now, he needed to be happy for his wife and niece.
“Let’s go you guys! Aunt Alice, are we taking your Porsche?” Ness said impatiently this time, very excited, obviously.
"You guys take the car. I'll go on the bike." Jasper said, now excited because he could use his own ride.

Alice waited patiently as Renesmee asked Jacob if we could go. It was fast. Alice flinched inwardly as her gut feeling told her something was up. As if on cue, the first vision returned and left so quickly she blinked a couple times. Um… She took a deep breath, the worry forming an uncomfortable weight on her chest. Great. What the hell is going to go wrong now? Thank God Edward isn’t here, he would be yelling at me right now. He always thinks I have the answers. “Jake can’t join us but he says we can still go. He will tell the pack about our visit,” Ness said quickly. Was she ever so eager before? Alice couldn’t help but grin, worry once again forgotten temporarily. I must be doing well as an Aunt, and so must be Jasper as an Uncle. She wanted to go cliff diving with them! Alice didn’t mind that Jacob couldn’t come; after all, he did stink. She wondered what was keeping him, but who knew? It was probably just his turn to keep watch, or whatever it is they do for fun down there. Alice smiled at Nessie as she took her hand eagerly. “Let’s go you guys! Aunt Alice, are we taking your Porsche?” Alice had to think for all of a tenth of a second before she knew the answer, though Jasper still spoke before her. "You guys take the car. I'll go on the bike." Alice stuck out her tongue at him. “You don’t know what you’re missing…” She teased, before giving his hand one last squeeze with her own free one, and then dashing outside with Renesmee to her canary yellow beauty. “Yay!” She giggled, opening the pasenger door; it had been awhile since she’d been able to drive her car, and now Alice was simply ecstatic. She then went and got into the driver’s seat, tapping her fingers on the steering wheel before cranking up some good music. “Beat you there!” Alice called out the window to Jasper.

Renesmee dashed with her Aunt Alice to the garage and she opened the pasenger door for her. She got in, placed her backpack on her lap and before she could snap her seatbelt on her Aunt was already in the driver’ seat and the stereo was blaring a song she knew.
“Beat you there!” she heard her Aunt challenged her Uncle Jasper who was taking his silver Ducati. Renesmee laughed her Aunt and Uncle loved their rides and would use them whenever they can. She knew from her mother’s stories that both the car and the bike were gifts from her dad to his brother and sister and both times it involved her mother. She laughed remebering the stories.
Renesmee looked at her Uncle Jazz perched up at his bike with envy. She wondered if her dad would let her have a bike like that or something better. She wondered when would be the best time to ask. But now is not the time to think about that, they would be cliff diving. Renesmee could already imagine what it would be like, she closed her eyes, when she would be standing at the edge of the cliff the salty air on her face, the sound of the ocean below her, the whisper of the wind as she soars toward the icy water. She sighed and opened her eyes. She can hardly wait.
Looking ahead after giving her Aunt Alice a bright smile, Renesmee started to sing along with the girl on the radio.

Jasper was getting excited that he laughed when Alice stuck out her tongue at him.
"Since you're using your Porsche, I'm allowing myself to use mine." He reasoned as Alice gave his hand a final squeeze before darting gracefully to her car, Nessie following as graceful behind her. Jasper tagged along behind the two enthusiastic ladies, smiling earnestly as he went. Things he'd do for cheerful days like this!
He went straight to his new motorcycle, new because he rarely used it. Motorcycles aren't that advisable for vampires, it couldn't hide you from the sun. But on infrequent occasions like this, he'd never pas the chance. Sure, he wanted to ride with Alice, he always did, but she had someone with her to sit with, so he didn't worry about Alice being alone on the way.
He put on his gear, helmet, jacket and straps, things that were unnecessary but looked smart on him, Alice would say, and good or was it another word she used when she found a perfect clothe or suit for him? He smiled.
He heard the usual sound of the Porsche, not the purr of the engine but the sound blasting from the stereos, he'd been used to that. Alice liked her music as loud as the radio could go. Checking that he hadn't missed anything, he put on his black helmet with lines of red across it, and came by Alice's window.
“Beat you there!” Alice called out the window to Jasper.
He turned around and flashed her one of his grins before planting himself on the motorcycle's seat. Man was he pleased! The feel of the bike under him was beyond words. He kicked it to a start, the motorbike growling fiercely beneath him, wild with hunger for distant travels. Sorry. It's only to La Push for now. Jasper answered the bike's desires, adding in "for now". He'd make sure to ride it somehow, to some faraway place without any risk. He liked that, wanting it too. The engine was ready, everything was set. Now where's the girl to start the race? He joked.
Revving the motor a few times, the motor growling louder each time he did, he shifted to first gear and answered Alice's challenge.
"First there wins a kiss." He teased, pleased with his bet. Surely, either one of them lose, still, it would be like winning. This day was going to be fun.

Alice grinned and nodded towards Jasper by revving her loved Porsche’s engine as well. Recognizing the song, Alice joined in the song, weaving her own complicated melody in her high soprano voice. “Just dance, dance…” Keeping a very close eye on Jasper, she stopped singing and…. “GO!” The tires squealed noisily as Alice stomped on the gas pedal with a small portion of her vampire strength. Her grin was stretched wide as it could go, despite her singing again. She bopped her head, but kept her eyes neatly on the road in front of her. Though she knew whoever won, the prize would be awesome, she couldn’t help but feel friendlily competitive. She would show Jazz… “Having fun yet Ness?” Alice asked over the music, though never taking her eyes off Jasper. If he accelerated, she would. Excitement bubbled up as the race drew close.

"GO!" Alice shouted. Here goes.. Jasper released the clutch abruptly and the bike pushed forward with sudden fury. Man was he pleased! Grinning widely as he twisted the throttle, he turned his head to his side and gave Alice a wink before accelerating more. He wasn't really into the bet or winning over Alice, he was trying to enjoy the speed of the ride as the journey would only be short.. Exhilarating!
The trees flew by in a blur, the wind whipped around his clothes, his hair too, but he was wearing a helmet - which was very unnecessary - and the bike bent to the sides in every turn he encountered. Adjusting gears and accelerating to the bike's extent, he was having, somehow, the ride of his life. One of the best days, he'd always say, everytime he got a chance to ride his own.
Knowing Alice, he knew she'd take it as a challenge and catch up with him. He didn't mind if she beat him, or if it were him, as long as everyone was happy, nothing else mattered to Jasper.

Renesmee head both engines roared as her Aunt and Uncle set themselves up for their race towards La Push. Her thought went back to Jake. She wondered why he sounded agitated when she called and why he did not come with them. He was always eager to bring her to La Push and always keen on seeing her as she was him. Renesmee wondered and worried at the same time. Was there a problem with the wolves? Is he and Sam having some rift again?
“Having fun yet Ness?” she heard her Aunt Alice ask her snapping her out of her musings.
Renesmee turned to look at her Aunt and smiled at her. She better push her qualms away, it may also be for nothing and she was wearing herself with worry. This was her idea and she wanted to have an exciting day. She asked her Aunt Alice and Uncle Jazz to have fun with her and she is not going to ruin that. She sighed deeply composing herself, she needed to push the emotions away or else her Uncle Jasper will be able to sense her feelings and then they would be worried about her.
Renesmee looked out the window and she saw the green blur of Forks pasing by not really seeing anything in particular. She looked again at her Aunt Alice who was looking ahead but she knew she was also watching his husband outside. Her Aunt is intent on their race she would ask her question later.

Alice honked the Porsche's horn for the heck of it, increasing the speed of the already pushed car. She was still about ten feet behind Jasper when the reached the turn off for the smaller, narrower road, and so she conceted to defeat. Oh well, Alice thought happily. Being kissed by a winner like Jasper would be twice as good anyways... I would think. Alice had to try not to roll her eyes at herself. She wasn't a sore loser- in fact she was glad Jasper had won, despite her previous competitiveness. She loved Jasper so much, she would give him anything in the world she possibly could! "Lucky!" She said to him anyway, as both vehicles were forced to slow down. She stuck her tongue out at him again, but grinned afterwards. My oh, my! Alice raised her eyebrows at Jasper. Handsome man on a motorcycle. Mhm. That helmet looked amazing on him, and so did that nice jacket... Alice's pride was hard to subdue. "We're here!" She announced to Renesmee and Jasper, though they both had probably already figured that out. The two vehicles were closing in on a section on the dirt road that was wider, and only had a ditch on one side. She pulled over the Porsche somewhat reluctantly, though excitement was growing quickly in her. Alice stepped out of the car and opened Renesmee's side, then grabbed the bag she'd thrown in the backseat with Jasper's swim trunks. Oops. Alice stared at the bag for a second, in confusion. Where will Jasper...? Nevermind, the forest would do anyway. In fact, Alice was positive the forest would be better to change in anyway for a vampire. After closing the door, Alice danced over to Jasper. "Here are your trunks!" She said in a chirpy voice. "There's a denser part in the trees over there," Alice pointed to the other side of the road, about ten meters ahead. "You could probably change there." She finished, smiling at him. Jasper in a swim suit; definitely a good thing. Alice could smell the salty water already, and could sense the slightest shift in the wind on her bare arms- it would be windy, as high as they were, even if they weren't at the highest point. Even as Alice loved playing the cool aunt, she'd never let Renesmee go cliff diving from the highest point on her first visit, even if she was a hybrid. She still needed to breathe.

"Lucky!" Jasper heard Alice call from behind. He turned has head back despite the speed he was in and looked at Alice intently, studying her emotions, the mood from the car flowed out and unto him. I wonder...
Nessie was hiding something. He could feel it. Anxiety? Worry? But the most potent feeling was excitement. Probably something about the dog... He'd ask her when they had parked.
Alice was triumphant. But she was behind him, how could she feel that? Jasper's brows furrowed. He was very confused.
They had reached the end of the journey by then, Alice informing them that they had. He parked the bike at the driver's side of the porsche, sighing as he cut the engine and waited for Alice and Ness.
"Here are your trunks!" Alice said. "There's a denser part in the trees over there," Alice pointed to the other side of the road, about ten meters ahead. "You could probably change there."
Alice gave him his trunks and smiled widely at him. Hmmm..? Abruptly, Alice's excitement was replaced with worry. Jasper cocked his head to the side, about to voice out his confusion and give her a fresh wave of excitement, but then a better idea appeared in his head. Grinning slyly, he knew she couldn't have seen this, making sure Ness was looking somewhere else, he got off the bike and pulled Alice into his arms. He gave her a brief yet pasionate kiss. This should probably erase the worry. He grinned in between kisses.
Breaking from the kiss, he gave her a wink and went to stand in front of Ness to catch her attention.
"Are you okay Ness?" Jasper asked, focusing on Nessie this time, she could not hide anything from him when he was this concentrated.

"We're here!" her Aunt announced excitedly. Renesmee didn’t even realize they were already in La Push let alone in the cliffs. Her Aunt Alice opened the pasenger door for her and she saw that her Uncle Jasper was there too. She swung her backpack over her shoulders and moved aside as her Aunt grabbed her back from the backseat. She walked a few steps towards the cliff as her Aunt gave her husband his swimwear and telling him to change in the forest. In an ordinary day Renesmee would had found this funny and would had probably laughed at her Uncle Jazz’ expression would she had seen it. But not this day, try as she might she can not push back the conversation with Jake. And her previous questions entered her mind again.
Renesmee was so deep in though that she did not realize her Uncle stepping in front of her, sensing her distress.
"Are you okay Ness?" he asked worried.
“I’m fine Uncle Jazz.” She said automatically but continued since she knew her Uncle would not believe her since he can sense her emotions. “I’m just worried about Jake. He was acting very odd when I called him earlier.” He could probably feel the conflict and confusion simmering inside her. Renesmee wondered what her Uncle Jasper is thinking right now sensing her feelings. She tried to concentrate to push it away again and replace it with excitement. “But I’m fine Uncle Jazz go and change and I will, er -” Shoot where will she change? She got so uptight about her call to Jake that she forgot to change to her swimsuit at the house. “I think I will run up to Sue’s store near the beach so that I can change. I will be back in a minute.”

Alice smiled against Jasper’s lips as he kissed her. Yup, losing was sure good sometimes. When he broke away, she briefly considered grabbing him again before remembering Renesmee was there. Jasper went to stand in front of her, and Alice’s attention was taken. She listened as Jasper spoke, and went to stand beside him. He asked Ness if she was alright, and of course she told him she was fine. She did however, explain that she was a little worried about Jake. At that moment, images blurred and flashed through her brain again. The wind flew forward roughly, the taller stems of gras brushing her shins. Alice’s brow creased as something caught her interest. She looked behind her, her unnecessary breathing becoming somewhat shallow as worry pressed down on her for a moment. No one was there but Jasper and Renesmee… Oh never mind, it must have been her imagination. With that, she jumped off the cliff, exhilaration letting her forget her worries. Alice froze, Renesmee’s explaining where she was going completely muted to Alice. A funny scent… Jacob being worried. Alice bit her lip, putting her arms around her as she thought. Well, it could be nothing. But that worry wouldn’t go away now. She glanced around her instinctually, and stepped away from the two of them without saying a word. Alice carefully made her way to the cliff’s edge after stepping through some bramble, and peeked down the long drop. Nothing. Sniffing the air, she turned her head, to the left; nothing, but you could see First Beach and some scattered houses around, and the mainland. To the right, the cliffs stretched on, until there was a sharp turn, and then the vast ocean. Sighing, Alice looked back directly in front of her, running her hands through her short hair. It couldn’t be anything important, not important enough to spoil the fun anyways. After one last look around, she walked back to where she’d left Jasper and Renesmee, slowly, lost in thought.

Jane slowly emerged from the water near the beach. She cautiously widen her senses focusing on any scent, any sound that would denote any presence that would be other than human. She knew she was in werewolf territory from the disgusting smell in the air mixed with everything else. She remembered the awful stink even after two years she had not forgotten. How could she anyway? It took a day of desensitizing before she finally removed the smell from her system. Who would have thought that she would be returning in the middle of it?
The currents are low today she noted as she swam near the rocks and the beach is empty except for the lone human inside the store at the far end of the beach. She would need a few more minutes in the salty water to conceal her scent before she can come out. This will only work for a few minutes at the very least but she would only need that much. She would not want to alert the werewolves of her presence. She had been careful.
Then a faint whiff of two immortals dawned on her. One was familiar the Cullen Seer, Alice and the other not at all known to her, but who else but another Cullen will be here she thought. And then a third scent and even this far she recognized it, she was sure of it. Jane had not been close to her that day at the clearing but close enough to recognize her now and as she focused at her scent more she was sure it was her. She was also sure that the other vampire the one she did not recognize is the Seer’s mate, probably the one who came with her when they brought the male hybrid.
Their scent was distinct so they must be near, Jane tried to pinpoint where it was coming from. She would not dare to come out of the water now. She would wait. She can wait.

The air kept changing. Not the wind that blew roughly around them, or the salty breeze that blew from the sea, but the mood around the three of them, Alice, Ness and him. Jasper was confused. A second ago everyone was excited and now, their excitement were mixed with worry and tension.
He himself surveyed the area as he thought Alice was doing when she went to the cliffs. Ness seemed disappointed and he looked at her. Hm. Probably looking for somewhere to change, Jasper thought, Nessie's swimsuit obviously not on her yet. Keeping tabs on Alice, making sure she was alright, he made a quick run around the place.
Nature was on its course, everything seemed normal, though the animals quickly darted away when Jasper pased by, sensing him as a predator and not some normal human paserby. The wind seemed to grow stronger but Jazz wasn't worried about that, something was out of place. He'd felt it when he was pasing the lower levels of the cliffs, someone was watching them? Abruptly, he slowed down.
He forced his talent a little wider than normal around him, focusing real hard as he walked slowly around the lower ledges. Something wasn't quite good, something was not right but he couldn't pinpoint exactly what. Reaching the farthest end, he sniffed the air but it was fine. Hm...? Probably the other's emotions were rubbing off him, giving him this sense of paranoia. Shrugging, he ran back to where the others were, quickly changing as he did.

Renesmee ran in human speed to the Sue’s souvenir store. It took her about fifteen minutes which she endured irritably but there are other humans in the area are not aware of the supernatural beings around them and are not suppose to know. She pushed the yellow door and the door chimes danced and made a soft tinkling sound that blended beautifully with the sound of the surf. Saying a brief pleasantry with Sue she asked is she can use her bathroom to change to her swimsuit. The older woman happily obliged and tried to accompany her. “Oh I know where it is Sue, I had been here so many times I practically find it in the dark.” She said happily jogging inside the narrow hallway where it leads to a small bathroom. She hurriedly changed as she wanted to join her Aunt and Uncle for the dive. Renesmee walked out of the bathroom and saw herself in a mirror and looked at herself closely. Her suit was ok but she bets her Aunt Alice will drag her to buy a new one as soon as she can. The pinkish color complimented her paleness in a good way and highlighted her hair too. She got further approval when Sue saw her and she made a little twirl for her. She gave her a hug and thanked her for the use of her bathroom and headed outside. Outside the clouds are still grey and the wind seems to be making her presence know. Renesmee drank the fragrance the wind brought to her senses and she was delighted of the smell of the sea and the forrest mingling in the air. She also caught the scent of wolf in the air and for the nth time of the day worried about Jacob and wondered again why he was so abrupt with her. She was walking towards the sea when she saw something yellow moved in the water. She looked closer but it was gone. Renesmee was almost at water’s edge when she remembered her family waiting for her. She looked as far as she could and when she was sure what she saw was gone she turned and headed up the cliffs. Oh well, she thought, if vampires and werewolves are present in Forks why not mermaids.
